Thats all from us tonight. Thanks for joining in tonight. Do join us tomorrow for Game 11 - SRH vs DC. Till then, ciao!

Heres the updated points table for you after tonights game.

Weve had two thrilling contests back to back now - two back to back games to prove that it aint over till the final ball is bowled!

Heartbreak for MI

Only if MI could have started well. The three wickets upfront cost them dear in the long run. Kishan and Pollard did mighty well to put them in the Super Over but a better start in their powerplay could have entirely avoided that situation maybe. .

RCB prevail in Super Over thriller

Their death bowling leaves a lot to be desired still - especially given the way how MI fought back to force a Super Over. But alls well that ends well. For now at least. Two points in their kitty, and Kohlis camp is a happy camp tonight.

RCB win!

Virat Kohli polishes off the chase with a boundary off the final ball and RCB have won the Super Over, and the match!

Bumrah strikes but ABDs reviewed it. And he survives! He was confident he didnt hit it and is proven right by UltraEdge. Takes a boundary off the next ball and RCB are just a hit away

Kohli and AB de Villiers will bat for RCB. Captain leading from the front. Eight to get..

Bumrah to bowl for MI.No surprises there. Hes got to defend 7.

Good Super Over for RCB

MIs over reads 1 1 0 4 W 1, which means RCB need just 8 picked up their second win of the season.

Super Over in progress

Pollard and Hardik out to bat for MI. Saini given the ball by RCB

Pollard smacks a boundary off the final ball when they needed five to win. And we have the second Super Over of the season! Absolute madness this. They needed 80 off the final four overs, at 20/over and they did manage it!

Ishan Kishan falls for 99

Hes bitterly disappointed, probably not for missing out on his century by a run as much as for departing when his team needed 5 off the final two balls. But can we take a moment to appreciate what a special knock this has been! MI looked down and out and hes turned it around phenomenally, well aided by Pollard at the other end. NINE sixes in that innings, 99 off just 58 - what a statement this has been! That its his comeback knock just makes it even more special. Take a bow!

The 19th over from Saini goes for only 12 which leavesMI with 19 to get off final six balls. Possible?

And then Pollard goes big!

27 off Zampas final over to completely ruin his night. Pollard takes on the spinner - remember, hes fresh off leading TKR to the CPL title ? - and the the over reads 4 6 6 2 6 3.No mercy shown to Chahal as well as Pollard picks two more sixes in the over - Ishan gets one as well - to take MI to 171/4 after 18. We might have jumped the gun here..

MI losing the plot

A couple of big hits from Pollard and Ishan both but the overs werent big enough to help MI. 80 required off the final four now.

The equation - 104 from six overs.Possible? Well, we learnt yesterday that nothing is impossible in this game. The question is, will someone do a Tewatia for MI tonight?

Fifty for Ishan Kishan!

Hes waging kind of a lone battle here for Mumbai. But what an effort it has been if you look at it in isolation. Smokes ne from Zampa over cow corner for his fourth six, to also bring up his half-century. Its his comeback game - MI preferred Tiwary over him in the two games prior to this - and hes made quite a statement in his comeback game.

RCB tighten the noose

...with Hardiks wicket.Zampa opens his account for RCB in his debut game. Hardik tried to take on the spinner, and goes for his favorite leg-side slog but cant get enough power on it to clear the ropes. Negi claims his third catch of the game! The joy and celebration in the RCB camp tells you how crucial this wicket was. Pollard is the new man in...

Chahal strikes

Hes made it a habit, hasnt he? Chahal strikes off the fourth ball hes bowled tonight, and he takes out former teammate Quinton de Kock for 14! Big wicket this. Its as if de Kock felt the pressure mounting on him and felt compelled to take on the spinner. Except he forgot it is the best spinner in oppositions camp that he is up against. Goes for a slog sweep as Chahal tosses it up generously. He miscues, and substitute fielder Negi at deep midwicket has a simple catch as MI slip to 39/3. Heres Hardik Pandya

MI two down!

AB de Villiers the keeper comes into play. Isuru Udana has got a short of length delivery to rise rapidly and surprise an unsuspecting Suryakumar Yadav. The MI batsman tried to guide it down to the third man region but ended up nicking it behind to the keeper. AB juggled it but held on to reduce MI to 16 for 2.

Rohit falls

Caaaaaaatch yelled Washington Sundar the moment he saw Rohit Sharma attempt to clear the lengthy square leg fence. And as it turned out, even as Rohit seemed to have timed it well, he holed out to substitute fielder Pawan Negi. Massive wicket for RCB, this.

Also, Rohit fell two short of becoming only the third batsman to score 5000 IPL runs.

RCB finish with 201/3

Absolute carnage!ABD fetched two sixes in the 17th over as he laid into Bumrah, who couldnt just nail the yorkers. Picked another one off Boult in the next over before fetching a six and a four more off Bumrah, who leaked 42 in his four overs without any success. Shivan Dube contributes an excellent cameo featuring three sixes off Pattinson in the final over to push RCB above 200 for the first time this season. Momentum firmly with RCB at the moment. Now for the bowlers to do a good job defending this... Well be back after a short break!

A brief innings summary from the Master...

Padikkal falls

Another short, slower ball from Boult fetches him an important wicket. Padikkal went for his trusty pull and hits is well, but the tall man in deep - Pollard - use his height to his advantage and takes a good leaping catch to end the youngmans fireworks. Five boundaries and a a couple of maximums in his 40-ball 54. Good knock!

Padikkal cuts loose

Death overs have started early? Nah.. Padikkal just showing his class and taking some pressure off the new batsman. He smacks back to back sixes off Pattinson to steal 14 off the 14th over. Both him and ABD have fetched one boundary each off Krunal and Pollards overs that followed. 136/2 after 16 is a decent recovery after that brief slowdown. 40 runs off the three overs since.

AB de Villiers vs Krunal in IPL

43 balls | 43 runs| Four dismissals | SR 100.00

MI make strong comeback

Four tight overs on the trot for Rohits team with just 7, 4 3 and 3 coming off those, along with a key wicket of Finch. And the pressure gets to RCB captain Kohli, who had been troubled a fair bit by Chahar. The leggie gets the big fish eventually! Loose shot from the RCB skipper, who chips it straight to his counterpart at cover. Big blow for RCB. This over goes for only five, as well. Meanwhile, Padikkal had his second fifty of the season.

Finch departs after quickfire fifty

Big wicket for Mumbai! Well-set Finch has lobbed it straight to Pollard at long-off. Change of pace from Boult does the trick. Fine knock that from Finch but meets a tragic end. First wicket for MI, after 9 overs that is. But heres Kohli.

RCB are 59/0 after powerplay, which is the highest PP score in Dubai this IPL. The previous best was also RCBs - 53/0 vs SRH.

Finch gets going

Dropped on 9 at short midwicket by Rohit of an attempted pull. Rohit got his hands on to it but failed to hold on. Finch didnt get those four runs, but then hes covered it up with a six off Boult - the first of the game tonight. Full ball, on the stumps, and Finch shows full face of the bat and lofts it straight over the bowlers head. Class written all over it. Pattinson errs in the next over and offers a short ball, which you should not bowl ever to Finch. Duly pulled in front of square for another four. MI brought in spin, in the form of Rahul Chahar, whos bowling short as well. Finch on a rampage. Hattrick of boundaries. RCB 49/0 after 5.

Finch is down!

That one from compatriot Pattinson came in sharply, took an inside edge and hit Finch on the box. Hes hits the floor in a split second. No harm done though.. hes back up.

Tried this?

Alright then, set for live action. Padikkal on strike with Finch at the other end. Boult has the new ball. Runs rightaway ...

Playing XIs:

Royal Challengers Bangalore:Devdutt Padikkal, Aaron Finch, Virat Kohli(c), AB de Villiers(w), Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, Isuru Udana, Navdeep Saini, Yuzvendra Chahal, Adam Zampa

Mumbai Indians:Quinton de Kock(w), Rohit Sharma(c), Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar, James Pattinson, Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah

Team changes

Three for RCB. Three much needed ones. Both Steyn and Umesh are out, along with Josh Philippe. Zampa and Udana come in, as hinted earlier, along with Gurkeerat Singh Mann. Which means Morris aint 100% fit just yet. Which also means ABD behind stumps for RCB tonight. One change for MI,Saurabh Tiwary isnt fit and Ishan Kishan comes in.

Mumbai Indians have won the toss and have opted to field. The chasing fad continues...

By the by,hearing that Zampa and Udana are both in line for their RCB debut. Awaiting confirmation...

Toss coming up in a few minutes from now...

Just in case youve missed the action from week 1, heres Deepu with the round-up. And if youre still thinking about yesterdays heist and want to know last nights hero - Rahul Tewatia - a bit better, look no further than this backstory of the man from Sihi who lit up Sharjah!

With one win and one loss each, both RCB and MI are looking to get their campaign back on track. With Hardik Pandya not being rushed into full all-round duties yet, MI are left a bowler short but it is RCB camp who are truely struggling with their bowling with both Umesh Yadav and Dale Steyn proving quite expensive consistently. RCB though are also hunting for a better team balance to begin with, in the injury forced absence of Chris Morris. Do they bring in Moeen Ali and hand over the keeping duties to AB de Villiers? Well find out soon enough. Heres Kaushiks preview, in the meanwhile.
