Analysts note that the precious metal is facing pressure from a firm dollar and rising yields on one side; rising pandemic cases and the US Central Banks decision to keep interest rates low on the other hand. Currently, nothing remains clear on which side of the metal will ultimately prevail.
The yellow metal managed to rise slightly despite the strength of the dollar and a rise in benchmark yields took away the luster of the safe haven.

The gold rates in Jaipur unmoves
The gold rates in Jaipur remained unchanged today despite its gained in the international market amidst weak U.S. economic data. In the local market, the gold rates in Jaipur were seen trading at Rs.37,400/- per 10 grams of 22-carats gold and Rs.38,600/- per 10 grams of 24-carats gold. In the Global market, spot gold has inched its highest level since Oct.10 at $1,504.35 and U.S gold futures have remained unchanged at $1,505 per ounce. Still, the yellow metal has some geopolitical uncertainties and a strong possibility of Fed rate cuts at the end of the month for help, but given the trade tensions between U.S and China appease, any positive new developments will weigh on prices. Today we noticed that market investors are making a profit after prices have exceeded the $ 1,500 maximum range level as the data points to a further slowdown in the U.S economy.

The gold rate in Jaipur climbs
The gold rate Jaipur hit a record high today following global cues amidst trade tensions between the United States and China. In the local market, the precious metal price in Jaipur climbed strongly to touch Rs.35,350/- per 10 grams of 22-carat gold and Rs.36,390/- per 10 grams of 24-carat gold. In the bullion market, spot gold was trading high 1.1% at $1,456.51 per ounce and U.S gold futures also inched up 0.8% to $1,468.50 an ounce.
The dollar was trading low against a basket of major currencies. Last week China stated that they will fight back against U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to impose an additional 10% tariff on $300 billion worth of Chinese imports.
Meanwhile, From the recent economic reports, the U.S. cemented expectations that the U.S Federal will cut interest rates again in September after it delivered its first-rate cut last week.
The yellow metal price in Jaipur updated on a daily basis based on the Rupee and Dollar exchange value, price changes in the international market and seasonal demand.
